2021 Scholarships

noun education scholarship 2019122Once again the Panther Creek Village Association will be accepting applications for two(2) $1000 awards to qualifying students living in Panther Creek.

Each year the Panther Creek Village Association awards a scholarship to an outstanding local high school student planning to pursue higher education.  This scholarship is based on academic excellence, artistic or athletic talent, participation in extracurricular activities, community service and financial need.  It is intended to recognize and encourage a spirit of community involvement and good citizenship among high school students residing in the Village of Panther Creek, The Woodlands, Texas.

Scholarships are open to all graduating high school students who are residents of Panther Creek Village at the time of application, regardless of the high school attended.  Applicants must be graduating seniors in good standing at their high school at the time of application who are planning to attend either a 2 year or 4 year college, a vocational or technical school. Applications will be available from school guidance counselor at The Woodlands High School and College Park High School or available to download by clicking  PCVA_Scholarship_Guidelines.pdf

Completed applications must be received by MIDNIGHT, May 1, 2021.

Please keep in mind that this is not limited to only HS Seniors, but it would be available to someone already attending college, but they would have to meet the criteria of still residing in Panther Creek.  Last year we were able to award the two(2) scholarships and it was due in part to our members spreading the word amongst thier neighborhoods.  Again, we will strongly encourage that.  If you know of a HS senior or someone already in college with a need and can meet the qualifications, feel free to distribute the application to them.
